Getting HereThe Metropol is just a short walk away from the railway station (Bahnhof SBB/SNCF) and the Air Terminal, where the airport bus leaves every fifteen minutes to the EuroAirport.Direct access to the motorway for Swiss/German/French destinations is nearby. Travelling by car from the direction of Germany or Switzerland, take the motorway exit "Basel-City" and follow signs for “Bahnhof SBB”. We are situated right on the central station precinct (Centralbahnplatz), opposite the Elisabethenpark. Please follow the signs to “France / EuroAirport”. 30m in front of the traffic light (sign “Hotels am Bahnhof”) turn left and follow the right lane. The hotel is 50m in front on your right-hand side. Direction from Motorway France (A35), take the first exit after the customs and follow the street to the round about. The second exit direction “Bahnhof SBB / City”. Follow the street for about 3km to the station “Bahnhof SBB”. At the traffic light in front of the station turn left, but follow the right lane and the sign “Hotel Metropol”.
